BIRTH DATING CORTICAL ASTROCYTES TO UNVEIL THEIR DISTRIBUTION PATTERNS IN DEVELOPMENT
In this video Ines shows, through perinatal birth dating, a novel cortical astrocyte distribution pattern that lays the foundations for further studies on the timed production of diverse cortical astrocyte populations.
ASTROCYTE CONVERSION TO OLIGODENDROCYTES
In this video, we show astrocytes expressing green fluorescent protein (GFP). After delivery of a reprogramming factor, they permanently express the fluorescent protein, tdTomato, which allows their fate tracking through the reprogramming process. Live cell imaging confirmed the conversion of GFP+tdTomato+ astrocytes to tdTom+ oligodendrocytes.
